TUAM MEN REMANDED IN CUSTODY OVER ASSAULT

Two Tuam men have been remanded in custody in connection with a serious assault on a man in Tuam yesterday.

A man in his twenties sustained head injuries after he was assaulted with a golf club on the Milltown Road.

21 year old Tommy Conroy of 143 Clochran, Kilcloghan, Tuam and 32 year old Martin Conroy of 64 Dublin Road, Tuam were both refused bail and remanded in custody at Roscommon court.
