TUAM MAN INJURED IN ASSAULT IMPROVING

22 year old Shane Grogan who suffered serious head injuries in an assault in Tuam at the weekend is improving in Beaumount Hospital, Dublin.

His father, Tuam businessman Joseph Grogan says his son had a good day yesterday, and after a good night last night, his condition is described as comfortable and stable.

On Monday Shane Byrne of no fixed address, but originally from Dublin, was charged with assault causing harm to Shane Grogan.

He was remanded in custody to appear again at Harristown Court tomorrow morning (Friday).
