Services in Galway need to become more disability friendly according to county councillor Colm Keavney.

Councillor Keavney says his own local area Tuam is a ‘blackspot’ for people with disabilities.

The Independent councillor wants disabled facilities to be provided as a condition when granting planning permission for all services.

Councillor Keavney says he doesn’t believe that Galway county council is carrying out the recommendations of the Disability Act 2005.
