Tuam Fianna Fail candidate reconsidering running in local elections
Galway Bay fm newsroom – A Fianna Fáil local election candidate for the Tuam area is re-considering running for a seat on the County Council.
Donagh Killilea says the decision by party leader Micheál Martin to recruit former Labour party Chairman and more recently Independent, T.D Colm Keaveney, to the party, is an “insult”.
The Beclare man is the son of former MEP, Mark Killilea.
Donagh’s father Mark has also admitted being disillusioned with the direction the Fianna Fáil party is heading and thinks Micheál Martin should step aside.
Donagh Killilea says his hat is still in the ring to run in the local elections, but he’s re-considering the decision.
