TUAM COUNCILLOR QUESTIONS VALUE OF TOWN “HUB” STATUS

Tuam Councillor Sally Ann Flanagan has questioned the value of the town’s "hub" status.

At this week’s meeting of the Town Council, she said the status precluded the town from access to 96 million euro funding under the leader programme.

She has now raised the matter at government level requesting relaxation from the rule.
