TUAM CONFERENCE ON LINKS BETWEEN THE WEST AND AMERICA

A conference which will involve 28 lectures relating to the links between America and the West of Ireland will take place in Tuam in mid-July.

Entitled “Irish American Link: People, Places, Culture,” it’s being organised by the Old Tuam Society in partnership with Drew University in New Jersey and is being supported by Galway County Council, the Centre for Irish Studies at NUI Galway and Galway Heritage Forum.

It runs from Thursday, July 12th to Monday, July 16th.
