More than 30 Coca-cola workers are picketing the company’s distribution centre in Tuam this morning.[27/8]

The SIPTU representatives are taking the action as part of their dispute with the company, which is planning to outsource 130 jobs.

Warehouses in Tuam, Dublin, Waterford, Tipperary and Cork are all being hit by pickets today.

The company says it has to implement the move in a bid to cut costs.

27 distribution staff affected by the outsourcing are picketing at the Tuam depot today, supported by Coca Cola staff from the sales, administration and engineering departments.
