Tuam business competition takes action on job creation

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Start up and existing firms across the West are being urged to take part in a Tuam-led initiative which aims to support the creation of jobs.

The ‘Take Action’ business competition is to be launched next month at the Beechtree Enterprise Centre in the town.

It’s hosted by Action Tuam Limited, which was formed in 1990 following the closure of Tuam Sugar Factory.

The event will also include key networking opportunities.

Guest speakers will include CEO of Galway County and City Enterprise Board Breda Fox, and Ray McGreal, CEO of the Western Development Commission.

It takes place at 11.30am on Wednesday the 6th of November in the Beechtree Enterprise Centre on Weir Road in Tuam.
