Tributes paid to former Mayor of Galway

Galway bay fm newsroom – Tributes are being paid to a former Mayor of Galway who passed away yesterday.

Former Fianna Fáil representative Henry O’ Connor was Mayor from 1993 to 1994, he had been co-opted to the Council in 1979.

The 67 year old died at his home at Canal Road in the city.

Galway West TD Éamon Ó Cuív Fianna Fáil says he was a well respected man who served the city well..
