A tribute plaque to Swiss teenager Manuela Riedo will soon be erected at the area where her body was found near Ceannt Station

Manuela was visiting Ireland on a trip to learn English last October when she was murdered

Galway city council has commissioned a small plaque at the request of Manuela’s parents Hans and Arlette, who visited Galway in January

The plaque which simply bears the word MANUELA is to be mounted on a wall on scrub land behind Ceannt Station.
