TRIAL RESUMES OF CITY BROTHERS CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

The trial of two city brothers accused of seriously assaulting a former classmate continues this morning at Galway Circuit Criminal Court.

On Friday the jury of six men and six men were sent home for the weekend and the trial resumes this morning.

Eddie O’Loughlin of Rockfield Park, Rahoon is charged with assault causing harm to Mark Keane outside a city hotel last December.

His younger brother Martin O’Loughlin of 19 St Finbar’s Terrace, Bohermore faces the same charge.
