Trial for county town rape opens at Galway court
Galway Bay fm newsroom – A 60-year-old Co. Roscommon man has gone on trial charged with the rape of a woman in a Galway county town two years ago.
The man pleaded NOT guilty this morning at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Galway to the rape on July 23, 2012.
A jury of six men and six women was empanelled before Mr Justice Barry White to hear evidence in the trial which is expected to last three days.
