Trial date set for Galway anti war campaigners

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A 79-year old Galway anti-war campaigner who was jailed for trespassing at Shannon Airport, has had her case pushed back to June.

At Ennis District Court today, the trial of Margaretta D’Arcy from Woodquay and her co-accused Niall Farrell from Oranmore was fixed for June 24th.

Ms. D’Arcy was jailed for three months refusing to sign a bond to stay away from Shannon Airport.
