TRIAL DATE FOR SALTHILL MAN ACCUSED OF THREATENING US PRESIDENT

The trial of a Salthill man accused of making threats to US President George Bush’s life four years ago, is to go ahead next May.

37 year-old Declan Noel O’Shea of 14b Emerson Avenue, Salthill, is charged with making nuisance calls between January 2003 and January 2004.

FBI agents are to travel from California to give evidence at his trial.
