TRIAL DATE FOR MAN CHARGED WITH RAPE OF BOY IN GALWAY CITY

A 37-years-old man has been returned for trial charged with the rape of a boy in Galway city.

The man, who may not be named for legal reasons, is charged with sexually assaulting the boy on dates between January 1, 2005 and June, 2007 at a Galway city location.

Judge Mary Fahy returned the man for trial to the October sessions of Galway Circuit Criminal Court.
