Drom complex hosted the weekend activities as four Connacht titles were decided at the Galway venue.

It was a very successful campaign for the host club as they collected three Connacht titles from their three finals.

U14 Final
Salthill Decon 3 – Barna Utd 2

This was the most competitive contest of the day as Barna led twice, but were pegged back on both occasions, before Shane Maughan fired home the Devon match winner from a late free kick.

A Paul Carty finish gave Barna an interval advantage, but after the resumption a Tony Ward goal direct from a corner levelled matters at 1-1. Then after Carty was fouled in the area, Rory McCormack slotted home the resulting penalty to restore Barna’s lead at 2-1.

However almost immediately Ward levelled matters oncemore with a close range finish to tie up matters at 2-2.

Maughan then had the final say with the late winner.
