Treat for blues and folk fans

Acclaimed Americana duo, Two Gallants come to the Róisín Dubh this Friday.

Adam Stephens and Adam Vogel started gigging together in 2002 around San Francisco.

Their sound is a fusion of delta blues and folk fingerpicking.

The two had a brush with the law last year when a noise complaint was made against a show in Walter’s On Washington, a club in Houston.

An officer took to the stage and ordered them to stop playing.

When Two Gallants refused, there was chaos.

In the ensuing melee Adam Stephens, the band’s tour manager and a 14 year old boy shot with an electroshock gun.

Reports from the gig soon emerged on Two Gallants’ Myspace site.
