TRANSPORT MINISTER TO OPEN M6 GALWAY DUBLIN MOTORWAY

The final section of the new M6 motorway from Dublin to Galway will be opened this morning.

The Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey will officially cut the ribbon on the 605 million euro motorway in Ballinasloe at 11 o’clock.

From 3 o’clock this afternoon when the first cars will take to the motorway, it will take just over two hours to travel from Doughiska to Dublin city centre.
