Training and skills Minister says Galway emerging as new force in technology

The Fine Gael TD made the comments at the Dublin Web summit which is being attended by 10 thousand people from 97 countries.

330 new jobs were announced at the event this evening for Dublin, Cork and Limerick.

Some of the biggest names in the online and technology sectors are taking part include tech entrepreneur Elon Musk who founded Paypal.

Many smaller companies including Galway based ‘English bubble’ and several coderdojo organisations from across the county are also taking part.
