TRAGEDY AVERTED AS ABBEYKNOCKMOY CO-OP BURNS

Tragedy was averted in the early hours of today as a family had a lucky escape when the Co-Op beside their home in Abbeyknockmoy caught fire.

Gardaí and fire crews are still at the scene of a fire at the Arrabawn Co-Op in Newtown, Abbeyknockmoy.

The fire broke out at around 4am in the office of the building and it’s not thought foul play is suspected.
