There’s still a traffic crisis in Shantalla despite the completion of stage 1 of calming measures.

That’s according to City Councillor Colette Connolly who says traffic is particularly bad at Scoil Bhride National School.

Councillor Connolly says parents continue to park on corners and on double yellow lines, and there are no Community and Traffic Wardens patrolling the area on a regular basis.

She says the traffic calming measures must be enforced immediately to avoid a serious accident.
