TOP OIL PURCHASE TROUBLED SWEENEY OIL

Top oil has confirmed the purchase of Fate Park, a fuel distribution business owned by prominent Galway business man John Sweeney

The High Court yesterday [wed aug 19] approved the purchase of the troubled business, trading as Sweeney Oil, which was put into examinership last April

A spokesperson for Top Oil says the companys immediate priority is to run Fate Park as normal, and there are no plans to shelve any of the 100 employees at it’s 15 locations
