Top acts and free tickets as TG4 films new series
Free audience tickets are now available for a new, star-studded TG4 music show, being filmed in Galway next week.
A total of 13 episodes of Bosca Ceoil will be filmed in front of a live audience at Monroe’s Live over four nights from Monday next, 7 April until Friday, 11 April.
Dozens of well-known and up-and-coming acts have already been confirmed to take part, including Sharon Shannon, Mick Flannery, We Banjo 3, Dervish, Flook, Cara Dillon, Four Men and a Dog and De Dannan, plus many more.
Bosca Ceoil aims to be different from the traditional Irish music programme of old with a fresh, new format designed to appeal to music fans of all ages. The programme brings together an eclectic mix of famous faces and new artists, and is brought to TG4 by the team behind 2013’s series, Fleadh Live.
The programme will transmit weekly from next September. Tickets are free of charge but people do need to apply in advance. As alcohol is available on the premises this is a strictly over-18s event.
The show will be recorded from Monday to Thursday from 6.30pm to 10.30pm and on Friday from 5.45pm until 8.30pm.
