Date Published: 24-Jan-2008
A TEAM which has beaten the Tipperary, Cork, and Limerick champions at the grade stand between Tommie Larkins and a place in next month’s All-Ireland Intermediate hurling final when they take on Clare champions Clonlara at Nenagh on Sunday (2 pm).
Clonlara, returning to the senior ranks after an absence
of three years, stormed through their Munster campaign and will prove formidable opponents for the Galway champions.
A place in a floodlit Croke Park final awaits the winners as Larkins aim to go one better than two years ago, when they lost out to Kilkenny champions Dicskboro by 2-14 to 1-15 at this stage.
