The inaugural Galway to Sydney bus service — which will depart next February, taking in 20 countries and lasting three months — is already half booked according to Mark Creasy, owner of the London based bus operating company, Ozbus.
The travel company was set up two years ago and it was initially envisaged that the overland bus would depart from London only, but because it was inundated with bookings from Irish people they decided to add more services departing from the West of Ireland and chose Galway as an ideal departure point.
The first bus from London departed for Australia on Sunday and is this week making its way through Germany and heading for Prague. A second Sydney-bound bus will depart…..
