Three Galway reseachers on prestigious world list

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Three Galway researchers have been ranked among the world’s top 3,000 by multinational media body, Thompson Reuters.
At NUIG, Henry Curran from the Engineering department, Colin O’ Dowd from the geosciences department and Donal O’ Regan in Mathematics were all included.
Being included on the list means the Galway academics’ research is listed in the top 1 per cent for the number of times their work has been cited by other scientists.
According to today’s Irish Times, their work is considered to be “of particular signficance and utility.”
