Thousands of workers will join forces in Galway this week for a mass rally to protest against proposed Government budget cuts. (6/11)

Members from Mandate, IMPACT, SIPTU, the INTO, and TUI, as well as the unemployed and community group representatives are among those expected at the rally which begins at Galway Cathedral at half past two on friday.
