THOUSANDS ATTEND MACNAS NIGHT TIME PARADE

An estimated sixty to seventy thousand people attended the first night time Macnas Parade last night.

Over 300 performers including giant monsters, flame throwers and stilt walkers took over two hours to parade from Fr.Griffin Road to the Dyke Road before thousands of viewers.

It was followed by the most impressive fireworks display Galway has ever seen.
