Third set of Galway twins begin school – joined by their twin cousins!
This is the biggest week in the lives of thousands of first-time schoologers all over the country – but nowhere moreso than in Castlefrench National School where teachers will be seeing double on the treble!
That’s because they will be welcoming the third set of twins from the one family this Friday –and Abbie and Alan Donoghue, 5, can’t wait to see what all the fuss is about, revealed their busy mum Maura this week.
Looking out for them will be older twin siblings Rachel and Katie, 8, who join third class, and James and Anna, 10, who start in fifth class.
As if that wasn’t enough to help make them fit in, their third cousins are also twins – Rachel and Ruth O’Connor will be making it an altogether family affair over in fourth class.
“They’re my babies. I’m going to miss them,” sighed their proud mom. “When the others started I always had someone at home”
