The oldest swinger in town wins award !

CONNACHT Tribune photographer, Joe O’Shaughnessy’s photograph, ‘The Oldest Swinger in Town’, has won the Special Humour Award in the Press Photographers Association of Ireland AIB Photojournalism awards.
The photo shows 81 years old Eamonn Harte, the Tommy Larkins Hurling Club President, swinging off the goalpost during an All-Ireland Intermediate Final training session last year.
That and four other photographs taken by Joe last year are included in the 120 prints being shown in an exhibition which will embark on a tour of Ireland, visiting AIB branches and other venues nationwide.
