The Nualas: Staggering into Galway for one night only

Legendary comedy singing trio, The Nualas, are celebrating their 21st birthday.

In those years they’ve played extended seasons in London, Dublin and New York, written and recorded several series for BBC Radio 4, split up and got back together again, clocked up innumerable TV appearances, and met Chris de Burgh in the flesh.

Now, with scorchingly brilliant new songs, red hot new chat and blistering new shoes, they are jetting in for one night only to leave you helpless with laughter, delirious with pleasure, and a little disorientated if you can’t remember which door you came in.

The Nualas are appearing in the gorgeous Magic Mirrors Spiegeltent, slap bang in the middle of Eyre Square on Saturday 29th October at 7pm.

They will be joined by Ireland’s most brilliant sketch group, Foil Arms and Hog as well as Paul Tylak from Dublin Comedy Improv and Ross Browne from RTE’s The Fear, who shot to fame this year after pranking the Jeremy Kyle show.

Another musical treat on the night is Abandoman. The undoubted hit of the last few years’ closing parties and pretty much everywhere they play, Abandoman create hilarious musical numbers at lightning speed.

Comedian Rob Broderick and multi-instrumentalist Sam Wilson create songs based solely on audience suggestions. This is fantastically funny, improvised musical comedy.

They have supported Ed Sheeran and stormed festival after festival around the world.

Come for the Nualas but stay for the rest!
