The all-new tabloid Galway City Tribune

Today marks the start of a new look – and a new era – for the Galway City Tribune.

We’ve changed size and shape, but not our outlook – the difference now is that our unrivalled coverage of all that’s happening in Galway comes to you in a new tabloid format.

That will obviously make it easier for you to read but this wasn’t just about a smaller page – we want our new tabloid to reflect the vibrancy of a thriving city, the buzz of Ireland’s entertainment capital, and a city where sport is king.

The new tabloid Galway City Tribune will have a fresh approach to the stories that matter – the stories of people who contribute to their city in a positive way, turning a spotlight on the best of Galway in all of its guises.

But we won’t shirk from the tough stories either; since the City Tribune came into being 29 years ago, we’ve built a reputation as the paper that never pulls its punches. And we’ve no intention of starting now. We’ve invested a lot of time and energy in coming up with this new look for a new era, but we’ve retained all of the elements that have proven so popular with our readers through the years.

Our stories and features are easier to read as you negotiate through the 112 pages of all that matters in Galway.

We know it will take a week or two for our loyal readers to get used to this radically new format, but we can assure you that we’ve retained all the elements that have proven so popular in the past.

The difference is that you’ll find the tabloid City Tribune easier to hold, and – with shorter, snappier stories – easier to read, without compromising on the facts.

We’d love your feedback on our new tabloid Tribune, because we’ve always valued our readers above all else – just drop us a line or email us at news@ctribune.ie
