Tenders sought for Oranhill road realignment
Galway Bay fm newsroom – Tenders are being sought for the realignment of a single carriageway road at Oranhill in Oranmore.
The work will involve excavation, road pavements, surface water drains, utility services and ducts.
The project also involves signing and lining, accommodation works and traffic management.
The length of the contract is estimated to be 8 weeks.
All tenders must be submitted by Thursday October 24th.
Galway Senator Fidelma Healy Eames says the stretch is dangerous for all road users and hopes to see the work completed by Christmas.
