TEENAGER THREATENS TO SLIT THROATS OF CLIFDEN GARDAI

Gardai in Clifden, who tried to bring a drunk and disorderly young man home before he got into more trouble, were told they would have their throats slit.

19 year old Thomas O’Malley of Bunowen, Clifden, attacked Gardai when they tried to bring him home, according to today’s Irish Times.

O’Malley was sentenced this week to 13 months in prison in relation to 14 charges at Clifden District Court.
