TECHNICAL EXAMINATION TO BE CARRIED OUT AFTER CITY FIRE

A technical examination will take place at a house in the city after it was destroyed by fire this morning.

It started at a house in Gort na Bro on the Western Distributor Road at around 10 o’clock after the occupants had left for work.

It took two units of Galway Fire Brigade to bring the blaze under control.
