TECHNICAL EXAMINATION FOLLOWING FLYNN’S LACKAGH BREAK-IN

A technical examination is underway in Lackagh after a break-in at Flynn’s Supervalu.

The incident occurred at around 3am when three males gained entry by smashing the front door of the shop.

The men, who were wearing dark clothing and had their heads covered with hoods, then tried to force open a cash machine.

When they failed to do so, they then tried to gain entry to the post office contained within the shop but were also unsuccessfull.

The raiders fled the scene in a dark coloured saloon car in the direction of Oranmore.
