TAYLOR’S HILL RESIDENTS TO MEET ABOUT HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

Residents in the Taylors Hill area of the city are meeting tonight [4/9] to discuss their opposition to the development of a site owned by the Sisters of Mercy.

Planners granted permission for 120 homes and a 5-storey apartment block and creche at the ‘St. Anne’s’ site, east of Rosary Lane, close to the historic Lenaboy Castle.

Residents in the area met last month [Aug] when the decision was made by City Planners, to draw up a plan to oppose the development.
