TAOISEACH TO OPEN NEW HEART UNIT IN GALWAY

An Taoiseach, Brian Cowen will be in Galway today [24/4] to open a new facility for heart patients.

Brian Cowen will officially open the new cardiac unit at University Hospital Galway this afternoon.

The launch of the unit, which is supported by Croí, will take place at 3 o’ clock.

This will be followed by a visit to the offices of ‘Lets do it Galway’ on Merchants road in the city at 3.45pm

The Taoiseach will address a rally for the Fianna Fáil local election candidates for Galway east and Galway west at the Marriott Hotel in the city at 7.30pm

Brian Cowen will finish his trip to Galway by officially launching the Clarinbridge Oyster Festival In Poppyseed Clarinbridge at 8.30pm.
