TAOISEACH REFUSES TO COMMENT ON FUTURE FOR MINISTER EAMON Ó CUÍV

Taoiseach Brian Cowen has refused to comment on speculation he may be moving Galway West Deputy and Minister Eamon Ó’Cuív in any upcoming cabinet reshuffle.

The Taoiseach addressed the Irish Hotels Federation annual conference at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the city this morning.

Brian Cowen was joined by Deputy Frank Fahey and Cllrs Peter Keane and Michael Crowe but Minister Ó’Cuív was absent.

Speaking to Galway Bay FM News outside afterwards, Brian Cowen would not be drawn on whether Minster Ó’Cuív or Minister Martin Cullen would be losing their portfolios.
