TALKS UNDERWAY OVER CREGMORE CROSS TRAFFIC CALMING PLANS

Talks are underway this week between all the stakeholders involved in the upgrading of the scene of a truck crash at Cregmore National School.

Several schoolchildren and parents had a miraculous escape last April when a truck ploughed through the schoolyard wall hitting 11 cars.

The county council is currently drawing up several plans to change the crossroads at Cregmore Cross to reduce the danger from traffic.
