Talented trio present ACE programme

The Academy Chamber Ensemble, made up of soprano Lynda Lee, viola player Simon Aspell and pianist Hugh Tinney, will be in concert at the Emily Anderson Concert Hall in NUIG’s Aula Maxima on Wednesday next, March 29 at 8pm.

The trio will perform selected an eclectic programme of modern Irish music alongside well-known Polish and German works.

There will be songs from Schumann and Brahms, Chopin’s Nocturne in D flat Op. 27 no. 2, two pieces from Seoirse Bodley’s Aislingí – No 1 and No 5, Forgotten Worlds from Jane O’Leary and Brahms Sonata for viola and piano in F minor Op. 120 no. 1.

Tickets are €18 /concessions and MFG Friends €14, For fulltime students, admission is €6.
