SUSPENDED PRISON TERM FOR MOYCULLEN MAN FOR STEALING WALLET

A Moycullen man who stole a wallet containing €1600 from an 81-year-old man’s pocket while pretending to help him get to the shop has been given a suspended seven-month prison sentence.

31 year old Brendan Finnerty, of Oldtown pleaded guilty to the theft at Pairc na gCaor, Moycullen on January 31st.
