Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinalsoe has come out on top in an online survey of maternity services at hospitals across Ireland

The Rate My Hospital survey carried out by IrishHealth dot com reveals Portiuncula maternity services are the best in the country according to patients

The hospital tops the League table with 81 percent satisfaction rating

Following in second place is South Tipperary Hospital, with Rotunda Hospital in Dublin taking 3rd place

Galway’s University Hospital was ranked 17th in the league with a percentage of 58

Over 9000 thousand mums throughout the country were surveyed about the quality of maternity care and facilities at Irish hospitals
