SURVEY ON SCHOOL PATRONAGE IN TUAM BALLINASLOE AND LOUGHREA

Parents of children in Tuam Ballinalsoe and Loughrea are being asked what patrons they would like to see operating their local primary schools.

Surveys will go live today in 38 areas of the country and are an expansion of pilot surveys on primary school patronage which were conducted last year in five towns.

The aim is to establish the level of demand from parents for diversity of school patronage in each of the towns.

The survey can be accessed on www.education.ie and parents or guardians of children up to 12 years of age will need their PPS number to complete it.
