Supermac’s honours its own champions
The owner of Supermac’s Clifden outlet was one of the big winners at the company’s annual All Star Awards at the weekend, recognising the work done by owners, managers and employees in over 100 Supermac’s and Papa John’s Restaurants throughout the country.
Eddie Byrne, owner of Supermac’s Clifden, was named as w inner of the Supermac’s Outstanding Achievement Award for his contribution towards the ‘Supermac’s Times Square Advertising Campaign’.
And he wasn’t the only Galway winner because Supermac’s Main Street Ballinasloe was the Company Outlet of the Year; the Eyre Square outlet won the Supermac’s Company QSC Award; Athenry won the Franchise QSC Award, and Supermac’s Manager of the Year was Vinayagam Kanpathy from Supermac’s Tuam Road outlet.
Other award winners around the country went to Supermac’s outlets in Tullamore, Mallow, Edenderry, Donabate, Monasterevin, Shannon, Roscommon, Portlaoise, Sligo, Thurles, and Killarney.
The All Star Awards aim to recognise a desire to succeed, ambition and potential within the Supermac’s group throughout localities and Ireland as a whole.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, which was held in The Lough Rea Hotel & Spa, Supermac’s Managing Director Pat McDonagh said he was extremely proud of the motivated team who excel daily as part of the Supermac’s group.
“They ensure Supermac’s food and customer service high standards are maintained and play a major part in us continually exceeding expectations. We’re delighted to see such worthy winners receive well deserved awards,” he added.
