SUBSTANTIAL QUANTITY OF DRUGS FOUND IN ORANMORE

A substantial quantity of drugs were discovered by Gardai in Oranmore on Friday night. (29/2)

It’s believed the drugs found were a large quantity of ecstasy tablets and a small quantity of cocaine.

The substances were discovered during a search on a vehicle and a premises at 10.15 pm on Main Street Oranmore.

A 36 year old male was arrested during the Garda raid.

He was detained by Gardai in Milstreet under the Misuse of Drugs Act but has since been released.

A file on the case is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
