Submit your nominations for the Galway Sports Stars awards

The 51st annual Galway Sports Stars awards banquet will be held in the Galway Bay Hotel on Saturday night, January 23, when the county’s top performers over the past 12 months will be honoured.

The social highlight of the local sporting year is being sponsored for the first time by city-based medical devices company, Medtronic, which is one of the biggest employers in Galway.

It’s been another memorable year for Galway sport, especially the All-Ireland triumphs of the county’s minor hurlers and the Corofin footballers, while there were also a number of outstanding individual feats during 2015.

Nominations for the various sports can be submitted by individuals or clubs to the Sports Editor, Connacht Tribune, 15 Market Street, Galway or by e-mail sports@ctribune.ie to reach us by Friday, December 4.
