Submissions open for proposed works on Shannapheasteen bridge

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Submissions have opened for the Natura Impact Statement for plannd works on Shannapheasteen bridge in Connemara.
It’s part of an application to An Bord Pleanála on the proposed bridge rehabilitation works at Formwheel.
The Natura Impact Statement will be put on public display at the local county council office in Clifden from next Wednesday (June 4th).
The structure between Oughterard and Rossaveal is currently unsafe for vehicles weighing over two tonnes.
