STUDENTS PROTEST AS HEALTH MINISTER ARRIVES AT NUIG

Up to 20 protestors have lined the entrance to the Bailey Allen Hall at NUIG awaiting the arrival of Health Minister James Reilly.
They are there to voice their opposition to cuts in education and the health sector.
Campaign group Free education for everyone is holding banners and placards calling for a stop to ‘commecialisation in education’
The peaceful protest is made up mostly of students and young people.
More than 600 delegates are attending an international conferance on autism at NUIG today with the Health Minister expected to give an address.
