STRUGGLING GALWAY FIRMS URGED TO AVAIL OF LOCAL ENTERPRISE SUPPORTS

Galway businesses who are experiencing difficulty due to the economic climate are being urged to avail of local supports.

Galway Enterprise Board held a workshop in City Hall this afternoon to mark Small and Medium Enterprise week.

The roadshow covers five towns across the county and aims to provide advice and information in a range of areas.

It followed the offical Galway launch of the Meet West initiative which has forty businesses from Galway registered for the Athlone networking event.

CEO of Galway Enterprise Board, Breda Fox, is reminding existing local firms to seek support before giving in to the increasing number of business challenges.
